Dark Services

This illustration depicts a playing card with a bold and contemporary design. At the center of the card is a woman dressed as a retro waitress, wearing a green outfit with a white apron, joyfully roller-skating. The female character is smiling, but her face is partially fused with a zombie, creating a striking contrast between the cheerful appearance and a slightly ominous touch. 

I had fun creating a metaphor: a two-headed waitress, symbolizing on one side the standardization of service and on the other, a hidden monstrosity of the service.

At the bottom of the card, the words "Dark Web Service" are displayed in capital letters, highlighting a connection to the dark and digital realm of the dark web.  The entire image is dominated by a palette of dark blues, accentuating the intriguing and mysterious atmosphere of the piece.

In the end, our waitress would be perfect for a board game card.

This illustration was originally intended to be part of an infographic in a report I worked on for the German giant Schwarz Gruppe.
