Story
The day had dawned bright over the citadel. Banners snapped in the wind, and the market was in full swing. No one saw the immense predator rising above the ramparts.

Design
This illustration uses a textured flat vector style. The narrative contrast is reinforced through color: the warm, reassuring tones of the city clash abruptly with the dark, angular mass of the monster.
The vertical composition guides the viewer’s eye from bottom to top, emphasizing the overwhelming scale of the threat. The image is designed to remain perfectly legible at small sizes, such as tarot cards or poker format (63 × 88 mm).
It works particularly well as an “Event” card signaling immediate danger, or as cover artwork for a small game box.
