Character Design : Poussin, cauchemar du désert haut en couleurs
Gwen is the only messenger capable of crossing the Sea of Dunes without a compass. Her mission is to patrol the routes linking the isolated cities of the South.
She relies on her mount: a creature with azure scales and ceremonial plumage, engineered for extreme endurance. An apex predator. A walking mass of muscle feared above all by the kingdom’s enemies.
Gwen chose to name it “Poussin.” Yes. Poussin, which translates roughly in French to ‘tiny baby chicken”
Mostly for the look of confusion on her opponents’ faces: Her favorite guilty pleasure? Calmly whispering, “Go on, Poussin,” just before unleashing it at full charge.

Composition, Aesthetics, and Readability
The concept behind this card aims to strike a balance between atmosphere and clarity.
From an aesthetic standpoint, I chose a contrasting color palette — blue, red, and the sandy tones of the background. The spiral motifs immediately evoke an ancient and opulent civilization.
The light background highlights the subject and avoids any unnecessary visual noise.
Finally, the posture suggests constant motion, making it ideal for illustrating travel or movement within the game.
