In a barren desert, a city emerged—Nephis, built around a secret oasis, perched at a dizzying height. Its walls, made of shimmering sand, towered over the dunes, defying gravity with their improbable elevation, reflecting sunlight like jewels.
To conserve their precious water, the engineers of Nephis devised a sophisticated network of underground canals and suspended reservoirs, meticulously designed to capture every drop of nocturnal dew. This water was then precisely directed to the central oasis. In this way, water—the lifeblood of this harsh desert—was guarded as the city’s most valuable treasure, quietly sustaining the elevated city day after day around its hidden oasis.

I created this illustration using Adobe Illustrator, and the prototype was made with Cinema 4D and Octane.
